A top security expert had warned Charlie Kirk there was a "100% chance" he would be killed at an upcoming event unless drastic safety measures were taken -- months later, Donald Trump’s ally and conservative activist was fatally shot while addressing an event in Utah.
The 31-year-old conservative influencer was shot in the neck on Wednesday afternoon while speaking about mass shootings at Utah Valley University.

Videos from the event showed Kirk addressing the audience under a white tent with the slogan “The American Comeback” when a single gunshot rang out. He slumped backwards as blood poured from his neck, sending the crowd into panic.

Kris Herzog, owner of The Bodyguard Group of Beverly Hills -- a firm that has worked with numerous celebrities and high-profile clients -- had met the Turning Point USA founder during a rally at California State University on March 6.
According to the Daily Mail, Herzog said he had warned the MAGA leader he would “100 percent be killed at one of his upcoming university speaking events” unless he took drastic precautions.
Although Herzog said Kirk promised to consider his safety recommendations and follow up, the call never came -- something the security expert now regrets.
“Sadly he never got back to me and now my prediction of his murder has come true,” Herzog told the Daily Mail.
US President Trump described Kirk as “a very, very good friend of mine and a tremendous person.” Melania Trump also sent condolences to Kirk’s wife, Erika, and their two young children.
Who is Tyler Robinson? Suspect arrested over Charlie Kirk murder
A 22-year-old man from Utah has been arrested in connection with the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Authorities have identified the suspect as Tyler Robinson.
According to law enforcement officials, Robinson was recognised by his father from publicly released photos. The father then urged his son to surrender and sought help from a youth pastor. The pastor contacted the US Marshals, who subsequently apprehended Robinson.
Investigators also reviewed Discord messages belonging to Robinson. Utah Governor Spencer Cox said at a news briefing that Robinson’s roommate showed investigators messages in which Robinson discussed retrieving a rifle. The roommate opened the chat app and “allowed investigators to take photos of the screen as each message was shown by Robinson’s mate,” Cox explained.
