Vodafone's UK broadband and mobile network are down on Monday afternoon in what appears to be a major outage, with thousands of customers experiencing widespread issues.
According to Down Detector, a website where people can report online service issues, there have been more than 130,000 reported problems with Vodafone's services after 3pm UK time, with more than half of these referring to broadband services.
Vodafone told the BBC it was aware of a "major issue on our network affecting broadband, 4G and 5G services".
"We appreciate our customers' patience while we work to resolve this as soon as possible," the firm said. Express.co.uk has contacted Vodafone for comment.
There have also been widespread reports on the platform and on social media of outages affecting Vodafone's mobile network too.
At 3:30pm, Vodafone's UK website was also down, as was its smartphonr app for iPhone and Android.
"Confirmed: Live network data show that operator Vodafone UK is experiencing a national outage with broadband and mobile data impacted, corroborating widespread user complaints", service tracker NetBlocks posted on X.
Vodafone customers took to social media to vent their frustration with the outage.
"Hello Vodafone, what's going on?!", said X user @TheVictrix.
Vodafone has said it has more than 18 million customers, with close to 700,000 home broadband customers.
The below image shows where in the UK people have reported Vodafone issues to Down Detector on Monday. Issues could still affect other areas of the UK where the outages have not yet been reported.
Many people posting about the issues on X said their Vodafone mobile services had been affected in addition to broadband internet.
"I am on Vodafone broadband and use Lebara sim. No mobile data however regular call and txt working", said @nomsat on X.
Lebara, a mobile operator, uses Vodafone's UK network to provide call, text and data services.
"Hey Vodafone, have you tried turning it off and on again?", @lottiehutchins posted on X, with the crying face emoji.
"I wonder if Vodafone haven't tweeted or answered their phone because all their stuff is connected via Vodafone...", said @joshp1407.
