
Spider-Man actor Tom Holland was reportedly rushed to hospital with a "mild concussion" following a stunt gone wrong. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the British actor, 29, is taking a break from filming for "several days" to recover from the horror accident. Tom is currently filming his latest superhero blockbuster, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The Daily Mail newspaper said Tom "cracked his head after suffering a fall on set at Leavesden Studios in Watford" and is being treated for a "mild concussion." A stunt double was also reported to have been left hospitalised after the incident, according to The Sun.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman told the publication: "We were called at 10.30am on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford. An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care."

The Sun also reported that Sony bosses - which is co-producing the £150 million film with Marvel Studios - will "meet on Monday to decide how to move forward with the production".
Tom's father, Dominic Holland, also confirmed during a charity dinner in London that his son could be sidelined "for a while", according to MailOnline.
Express Online have reached out to Tom's representatives for comment.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day - which is slated to hit screens on July 31, 2026 - will see Tom Holland become a "proper Spider-Man". He first appeared in the iconic role in 2016 in Captain America: Civil War.
He has starred as Peter Parker a further six more times, most notablty in films such as Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Holland teased fans that Spider-Man: Brand New Day - which will see the return of his fiancee Zendaya, 29, as Michelle 'MJ' Jones-Watson - would feel like a "breath of fresh air", like his original 2017 movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.
He said to Flip Your Wig: "It's gonna feel like making [Spider-Man: Homecoming] again. It's been such a long time that I've done it that it's gonna feel like a breath of fresh air.
"And I think the fans are gonna be over the moon with what we're putting together."
