US President Donald Trump slapped down Elon Musk's decision to announce a new party on the weekend. Speaking to reporters on Sunday night before boarding the Air Force One, he said: "I think it's ridiculous to start a third party. It's always been a two-party system and I think starting a third party just adds to the confusion."
