Changur Baba and Neetu Rohra are the main accused who converted in Dubai and made transactions worth crores from Swiss bank accounts.
New facts are emerging one by one in the investigation of the gang that traps Hindu and non-Muslim girls and converts them illegally.
The ATS investigation has also revealed that as part of a conspiracy, lands were being purchased to open Islamic Dawah Centres and Madrasas in districts bordering Nepal, including Balrampur and Bahraich.
Neetu Rohra alias Nasreen and her husband Naveen Rohra alias Jamaluddin, close to Changur Baba, are big players. Naveen and Neetu used to do business in Dubai. Both of them accepted Islam in Dubai and then came to India.
Along with Changur Baba, they were running a gang of illegal conversions. The couple had also got their daughter converted in Dubai. Evidence has also been found that Neetu and Naveen had visited Dubai 19 times each in the past years.
Naveen also has an account in a Swiss bank, through which transactions worth crores of rupees have been reported. Lands were being purchased in Balrampur and nearby districts in the name of Naveen and his wife Neetu.
Both of them were buying land in their Hindu names. Apart from this, land worth Rs 16 crore was also bought in Maharashtra. A large part of the money sent to Naveen's account from abroad was transferred to the accounts of Neetu, Changur Baba and his son Mehboob.
