If your current iPhone feels like it's on its last legs, you might want to keep an eye on all the latest Apple news. The US technology giant is holding a major launch event on Tuesday, September 9, and it could be one of its biggest in years. All the latest rumours and whispers suggest that the keynote from Apple's HQ in Cupertino will showcase the new iPhone 17 range.
This looks set to include a standard model, which will launch alongside a refreshed iPhone 17 Pro that might feature a new look and much-improved camera technology.
However, those iPhones might not be the stars of the show. It's fully expected that Apple will confirm the release of a device called the iPhone 17 Air.
As the name suggests, this call maker could include a design that's much thinner and lighter than anything the company has unveiled before.

It might also replace the current iPhone 16 Plus, which means a bigger screen could also be part of its design.
One accessory firm, called dbrand, has already shown off cases for the new iPhone range, and it appears that the iPhone 17 Air will have a single rear camera rather than a dual-lens or triple-lens setup.
It's likely that all of the new iPhone 17 range will get a new A19 processor, Camera Control button for easy access to the rear snappers and MagSafe technology for better wireless charging.
Of course, Apple never reveals anything ahead of its launch events, but luckily, we'll soon find out the full details.
The next keynote begins at 6pm BST today and Mirror Online will bring you all the news live as it happens. Watch this space, especially if you fancy a slimline smartphone in your pocket.
