Charlotte Crosby's baby rushed to hospital after 'throwing up all day'

Reality TV star Charlotte Crosby's youngest daughter had to be taken to hospital recently, it's been announced. Her baby Pixi is said to have been "throwing up all day" and "screaming" whilst feeling poorly at home beforehand.

Charlotte, 34, shares Pixi, seven months old, with her fiancé Jake Ankers after giving birth in January. The former Geordie Shore cast member and her partner, who have documented parenthood in MTV's Geordie Stories: Charlotte's New Baby, were already parents to eldest child Alba, two, together.

This week, it's been revealed that Pixi was unwell recently. Jake is said to have shared that she had been admitted to hospital and that Alba hadn't been well either, but he's since shared an update assuring that they are both okay.

As reported by the Sun, last night, Jake wrote beside a photo of his youngest daughter on Instagram: "Pixi on the sofa with me tonight she's not stopped throwing up all day and she's just screaming I feel so sorry for her! There must be something going around as Alba was poorly last week too."

He then revealed that the family had taken her to hospital. He wrote. Alongside a photo of a waiting room, he wrote: "I've been awake since 02.30am yesterday morning I'm absolutely drained I have nothing left in me and poor Pixi is now here and I've had to drag Alba out of bed to come with us."

Jake later announced that Pixi had gastroenteritis, which is described the NHS as a "common condition" that can cause diarrhoea and vomiting. It's said to usually be caused by a bacterial or viral tummy bug.

In an update, he shared with his followers: "We have just been discharged - Pixi has got gastroenteritis… soon as we left Alba then throws up all over me and her ... Honestly I've been awake now 26 hours I can't even cope anymore."

More recently, Jake shared an update on his children in a post uploaded to his Instagram Story this morning. He wrote in the message to his followers: "Up early this morning full of beans after catching up on my sleep."

Later in the post, he shared: "The girls are all ok and having cuddles with Mam we all had a little lovely lazy day together yesterday, Alba back to her usual self but little Pix is stillnot fully there but give it a few days and she will be 100% thank you for all your messages guys."

Charlotte, who was at a party celebrating two friends' expecting a baby together just days ago, shared an update herself this afternoon. Beside a photo of herself and Pixi, she wrote: "Look at my beautiful Pix she's soooooo much better today! And her appetite is fully back! Which I found out very quickly as it hit through the night!"

She continued: "And she had some big feeds! Which is amazing she also kept it all down! However I on the other hand I'm feeling a little worse for wear today! And very very very tired! Alba wanted me in her bed all night and Pixi was hungry all night."

Sharing her plans for the rest of the day, Charlotte added in the post on her Instagram Story earlier: "Today I plan on eating 1000's of calories and napping with Pixi while Alba's at nursery. Haven't had a day like this in forever."
