Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh): Neemuch police solved the murder case of Leeladevi in Sinhal Multi at Bansal Square under Cantt police station area within 24 hours. The incident occurred on Friday night. Main accused Arjun Meena and his accomplice have been arrested. The knife used in the murder and stolen cash of Rs 1.60 lakh have been recovered.
SP Ankit Jaiswal revealed in a press conference on Sunday that main accused Arjun Meena had previously done painting work at the deceased's house. He was well aware of the condition of the house. The accused had stolen Rs 32k from the same house six months ago and planned this bigger crime.
Arjun Meena had been monitoring Leeladevi's house for one-and-a-half years. On Friday, he bought a knife two hours before the incident and reached the residence. When Liladevi protested during theft, the accused killed her by attacking her neck with the sharp weapon and fled with Rs 1.60 lakh.

Police got this information from CCTV footage installed at the scene and nearby areas, technical evidence and informer system. Due to cyber cell vigilance and joint police team’s hard work, police reached the accused in just 24 hours.
Main accused Arjun Meena (34), resident of Baghana and accomplice Labhchand alias Bunty Kumhar (43) have been arrested. This action was taken under SP’s direction and leadership of ASP Naval Singh Sisodia, CSP Kiran Chouhan and Cantt police station in-charge inspector Pushpa Singh Chouhan. The SP has sent proposal to reward the team through State Director General of Police (SDGP).
