Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], November 6 (ANI): The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Rajouri, in collaboration with the District Administration Rajouri and the Indian Army, organised the first-ever "Women Darbar" in the far-flung areas at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Thannamandi Sub-Division, Rajouri District, Jammu and Kashmir.
The event aimed to provide a platform for women to raise their grievances and access various government services.
Women from different parts of the far-flung areas of Sub-Division Thannamandi attended the event and shared their grievances with the authorities. The District Administration set up stalls showcasing various developmental schemes and programs, providing awareness about different diseases, and offering medical check-ups and free medicines.
Beneficiaries received benefits from various government departments and schemes on the spot, making the event highly beneficial for the attendees. The event empowered women by providing them with a platform to voice their concerns and access essential services.

The programme was attended by ACR Rajouri, Jahangir Khan; Shama Sharma, Sub-Judge/Secretary, DLSA Rajouri; Jyoti Katria, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Rajouri; Bharti Slathia, Army Commandant, 61 RR Thannamandi; Manohar Lal, CMO Rajouri; Abid Hussain Shah, SDM Thannamandi; Shakeel Manhas, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Thannamandi; TSO Thannamandi; Naib Tehsildar Thannamandi; JE PHE Thannamandi; officials from the Horticulture Department, Agriculture Department, Medical Department, and Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department; PSI Farah and other lady officers; Revenue Department Officials Thannamandi; Ayush Department Officials; Municipality Thannamandi Officials; Health Department Officials Thannamandi; ASHA workers; Anganwadi workers/helpers; LADCs; PLVs; and the general public.
The program included the organisation of a Women's Darbar aimed at promoting awareness and addressing the concerns of women in the community.
The event saw active participation from various officers of the District Administration, the local community, students, and representatives from the Army Battalion. Gifts, shawls, and certificates of appreciation were distributed among the beneficiaries.
The program aimed to strengthen community ties and promote social harmony in the region.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Rajesh Sharma, Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel, Rajouri, who appreciated the efforts of the District Administration Rajouri and expressed gratitude to the guest speakers, LADCs, PLVs, and the general public for their active participation.
