Wedding bells seem to be around the corner for Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar as he gets engaged. His fiancee is Saaniya Chandhok, who keeps a low profile despite being from an industrialist’s family. She herself is an entrepreneur. She will become Sachin’s daughter-in-law once she ties the knot with Arjun.

Who Is Arjun Tendulkar’s Fiancee Saaniya Chandhok?

Saaniya is the granddaughter of Mumbai industrialist Ravi Ghai. Ghai is a big name in India's hospitality and food industries. The Ghai family owns the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery. Saaniya comes from a prominent family and she will also be marrying into one.

Not much is known about what Saaniya does. But her social media indicates that she is a veterinary technician, having completed an ABC programme from WVS. Sources close to both families told the media that both Arjun and Saaniya along with their families opted for a private ceremony. It remains to be seen when the wedding is held.

Arjun Tendulkar Follows Father Sachin Tendulkar’s Footsteps

While Arjun has followed his father’s footsteps as a cricketer, he has not made it as big as the ‘Master Blaster’. Unlike his dad who played for Mumbai and India, Arjun plays for Goa in domestic cricket. He is 25 and has played 17 first-class games, made 532 runs and taken 37 wickets.

Arjun also made his IPL debut for MI in 2023. His last professional match was against Manipur in 2024. This was in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. It’s not clear when he will return to action on the field.

Arjun is Sachin’s younger child. His sister Sara Tendulkar is a couple of years older than him. Sachin got married to Anjali in 1995 when he was very much an active part of Team India. He became a father twice. Now he’s all set to be a father-in-law for the first time.
