Backed by Zeiss-tuned triple 50 MP cameras, a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 engine, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery with fast charging, the X Fold 5 promises a feature-rich experience.

This foldable is available via Flipkart and Vivo’s official store to impress design-savvy users seeking innovation, power, and sleek form. Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE launch date in India

On July 14 at 12 p.m. IST, the Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE will be released in India. Flipkart and the Vivo website will sell them in the nation.

A 6.31-inch AMOLED screen would be included with the Indian version of the X200. The phone would be about 7.99 mm thick and use a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. A 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera would all be part of the phone's triple camera unit, branded with the ZIESS logo. 

Vivo has also disclosed that the X 200 FE smartphone would have a 6.31-inch display and a thin, small design. The smartphone would have IP68 and IP69 dust and waterproofing ratings for durability. A 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera lens make up the triple camera setup at the back, which aligns with the increasing demand for high-quality cameras. 

The German optics company Zeiss co-engineered the flagship X 200 FE camera system. The phone's camera specifications would guarantee that it could provide ZEISS-style bokeh effects, including Zeiss Biotar, Zeiss B speed, and Zeiss Distagon, among many other features. 

The X200 will come pre-installed with Funtouch OS 15, which is based on Android 15, and several unique AI-powered capabilities. The smartphone would have access to Google Gemini AI Assistant and Vivo's AI technologies. 

The X200 would have a 6500 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and support and IP68+69 water and dust resistance ratings. On a single charge, the new phone could play YouTube for 25.44 hours and games for 9.55 hours.

In India, tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has revealed the potential costs of the next generation of Vivo phones. The Vivo X200 FE's 12GB+256GB model is anticipated to retail for Rs. 54,999 nationwide, while the more expensive 16GB+512GB model would cost Rs. 59,999.

According to predictions, the Vivo X Fold 5 will have a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED cover display when folded and an 8.03-inch 8T LTPO expanded display when unfolded. The device may have a local peak brightness of 4500 nit and be certified by TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0. 

It might include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage under the hood. According to rumors, the Vivo X Fold 5 would have three 50-megapixel sensors in its triple back camera set. 

Furthermore, the inner and outer screens of the phone can each have two 32-megapixel sensors. Among the other alleged specifications are a three-stage Alert Slider and a 6,000mAh battery that supports both 30W wireless and 90W wired charging.

Vivo X Fold 5 expected price

A single 16GB+512GB variant is rumored for the Vivo X Fold 5. The tipster estimates that its pricing in India would be Rs. 1,49,999.
