The indigenous app Arattai has gained popularity among Indians in a very short time. This instant messaging app, which has been in the news for the past few days, is being compared to WhatsApp. Some say it could lead to WhatsApp's ban in India. Many others are claiming it's a copy of WhatsApp. However, the app is gaining widespread popularity. Developed by the Indian company Zoho, it quickly reached the top spot among social networking apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Since then, it has gained widespread attention. Arattai is very similar to WhatsApp. However, there are several significant differences between the two apps. Arattai has two features that WhatsApp doesn't yet have. Today, we'll discuss these differences and features.
How to use meetings
You can create new meetings and schedule meetings. Meetings can be recorded. Several separate features are available for meetings. This feature makes Arattai quite different from WhatsApp and can be useful for people.
Many WhatsApp-like features are in the Arattai app
Arattai has been launched as an instant messaging app. Therefore, it is natural that its interface, usage, and features will be largely similar to WhatsApp, as it is widely used in India. It also offers features like chats, status, calls, and groups through WhatsApp.
Arattai's pocket feature is not available in WhatsApp.
The Arattai app has a pocket feature. This will act as a draft for the user. Upon entering the app's settings, users will see a Pocket option. Clicking on it takes you to a chat called Pocket. Here, Pocket will appear alongside "Your Personal Storage."
Use of the Pocket Feature
Users can store important photos, messages, to-do lists, or anything else. Drafts can also be created within WhatsApp. However, there's no dedicated feature or option for this.
Scheduling office meetings with Arattai is easy.
WhatsApp offers a group calling feature, but it may not be particularly useful for office meetings. Keeping this in mind, the Arattai app also includes a Meetings feature. This feature is very similar to MS Teams and Google Meet.
