New Rules 1 August: Now, the month of August is about to start, and with the beginning of the new month, many big things have changed. Now it is being said that from August 1, there are going to be big changes in UPI, which can have a direct impact on your pocket. If you also use UPI (UPI New Rules) for payment, then it is very important for you to know about these changes. Let us know what changes can happen from August 1.
What will be the changes in UPI?
First of all, let us tell you that there can be five main changes in UPI (UPI New Rules) from August 1. Which includes this. The biggest change will be regarding the balance check limit, and the second big change will be AutoPay at a fixed time. And there has also been a change in the limit for payment reversal, the limit for checking payment status (UPI balance check limit), and the limit for viewing transaction history.
Limit imposed on checking balance
Until now, under the rules (UPI Rules), UP users could check their balance as many times as they wanted. But now a limit has been imposed on checking it. Now, from this new month, August 1, the user will be able to check the balance only 50 times a day. According to NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India), this limit has been imposed so that there is no pressure on the server during other important payments and there is no hindrance in UPI payments.
There may be a problem with the payment set on autopay.
Till now, money has been deducted through autopay in 24 hours. But now there will be a change in this. Now this facility will be available only before 10 am and from 1 pm to 5 pm. After the stipulated time, you will not be able to do any transaction (UPI Transaction). That is, later, you may have to face trouble with transactions. Especially for the payments that you have set on autopay. These payments include SIP, digital investment, or payment of an OTT app through UPI.
Chargeback limit fixed
Along with this, let us tell you that now a limit has been fixed for chargeback, i.e., getting the payment back. Now, after this big change, every user can request a chargeback only 10 times in a month, and you can demand a refund from any one person or company only 5 times.
A limit will also be imposed on checking payment status.
It is often seen that users using UPI keep checking the payment status after making several payments a day. Now, NPCI has put a limit on this as well. After this, you will be able to see the payment status only three times a day. Which there must be a gap of at least 90 seconds.
Limit for checking transaction history.
NPCI has also imposed a limit on checking bank account details. After this, every user will be able to check their bank account details only 25 times in a day through any one app. There is a fixed limit on checking the balance and checking transaction history repeatedly.
