Indian Air Force Vacancy 2025: The application process for recruitment to the posts of Agniveer Vayu by the Indian Air Force is ending today, i.e., on 4th August 2025. All the interested candidates who have not been able to apply till now can soon apply online by visiting the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
This recruitment is a golden opportunity for 12th pass youth as well as candidates who have done a diploma and vocational courses. Interested candidates can apply only in online mode.
IAF Agniveer Vayu Eligibility: Different criteria in science and non-science classes
For Science class:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English subjects from a recognized board with at least 50% marks and a minimum 50% marks in English as well.
Or the candidate should have a three-year engineering diploma in the relevant trade (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or IT), in which at least 50% marks are also mandatory in the English subject.
For non-science category:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in total and the English subject.
Or passed a two-year vocational course, with a minimum of 50% marks and 50% marks in English.
Age limit
The age of the candidate to apply should be between 17.5 years and 21 years. The candidate must be born between 2 July 2005 and 2 January 2009.
IAF Agniveer Vayu Selection Process: Evaluation will be done in four stages
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, physical efficiency test (PET), document verification, and medical examination.
Physical test standards:
Male candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km race in 7 minutes.
Female candidates will have to cover the same distance in 8 minutes.
Apart from this, exercises like push-ups, sit-ups and squats will also be conducted.
Application fee
Candidates of every category will have to deposit a fee of ₹550 through online mode at the time of application.
