Chelsea will play in the Club World Cup final after beating Brazilian side Fluminense 2-0 on Tuesday night.
Summer signing Joao Pedro put Enzo Maresca's side ahead in the first half with a screamer from outside the box. Marc Cucurella did ensure the score remained 1-0 going into the break after clearing the ball off the line after the ball was poked past Robert Sanchez in a rare Fluminense attack.
Trevoh Chalobah was penalised for handling the box in the box before the half-time whistle, but the penalty decision was overturned following a VAR review.

In the second period Pedro grabbed his second after being played in by Enzo Fernandez, with the former Brighton man finishing empathetically against his boyhood club in his first start for Chelsea. The score finished 2-0 to ensure Chelsea progressed to the final.
When is the Club World Cup final?Chelsea will rest and recover before returning to the grass ahead of the Club World Cup final on Sunday, July 13. It will be played in familiar surroundings for the Blues, with the final being held at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
